Father in heaven, by whose grace
the virgin mother of your incarnate Son
was blessed in bearing him,
but still more blessed in keeping your word:
Grant us who honor the exaltation of her lowliness
to follow the example of her devotion to your will;
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns
with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Amen.

The Father is my hope.
The Son is my refuge.
The Holy Spirit is my protector.
Glory to the holy and undivided Trinity,
now and forever.
Let us Praise the Father,
the Son and the Holy Spirit;
let us bless and exalt God above all forever!
Almighty and everlasting God,
to whom we owe the grace of professing the true faith,
grant that while acknowledging the glory of the eternal Trinity
and adoring its unity,
we may through Your majestic power
be confirmed in this faith
and defended against all adversities;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
forever and ever.

Amen.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the witness of Your Servant,
Saint Paul VI, who served You and the Church
as Universal Pastor in difficult times.

As a pilgrim among pilgrims
he sought to reveal the beauty and joy of the Gospel
to the men and women of his time,
choosing the way of gentleness and forbearance.

As Shepherd of the flock
he sought to proclaim the truth in a time of great confusion
in imitation of his patron the Apostle to the Gentiles.

As Servant he proclaimed the Gospel of Life
and in doing so bore the cross of suffering and isolation
in union with Your Crucified Son
becoming a Prophet in the midst of the growing culture of death.
Hear our prayers, most Merciful Father,
and grant them through the intercession of Saint Paul.

Come Holy Spirit, fill our hearts with your love
and bring us a cure for the Covid-19 virus.

Strengthen those who study and research
that we may have a way to live
with health and wellness.

Bring care and medicine to those
who are most in need.
Let us be for each other
the friend that God wants us to be.

We pray through Christ Our Lord.

Amen.

O Holy St. Philip Neri, Patron Saint of joy,
you who trusted Scripture’s promise
that the Lord is always at hand
and that we need not have anxiety about anything,
in your compassion heal our worries and sorrows
and lift the burdens from our hearts.
We come to you as one whose heart swells
with abundant love for God and all creation.
Keep us safe through your loving intercession,
and may the joy of the Holy Spirit which filled your heart,
St. Philip, transform our lives and bring us peace.

Amen.

Venerable Saint Bede, Patron of Catholic schools,
thank you for being an example of holiness, goodness, and wisdom.
Thank you for inspiring us to be lifelong learners
who are always eager to learn more.
Inspire us to read and hear the Word,
which helps us to know Jesus and to follow His ways.
Help us all to love God with all our hearts, and to love
and respect our classmates, teachers and families.
Guide us to use our words kindly and wisely so
that we can be effective communicators
who listen carefully and speak thoughtfully.
Above all, give us courage to live like Jesus lived.
Saint Bede, Pray for us.

Amen.

O Mother of Jesus,
now glorified in heaven in body and in soul,
as the image and beginning of the Church,
which is to have its fulfillment
in the future age here on earth,
until the day of the Lord comes,
do not ceases to shine
before the pilgrim people of God
as a sign of sure hope and consolation.

Come, Holy Spirit,
fill my heart with Your holy gifts.
Let my weakness be penetrated with Your strength this very day
that I may fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously,
that I may do what is right and just.

Let my charity be such as to offend no one,
and hurt no one's feelings;
so generous as to pardon sincerely any wrong done to me.

Assist me, O Holy Spirit, in all my trials of life,
enlighten me in my ignorance,
advise me in my doubts,
strengthen me in my weakness,
help me in all my needs,
protect me in temptations
and console me in afflictions.

Graciously hear me, O Holy Spirit,
and pour Your light into my heart,
my soul, and my mind.
Assist me to live a holy life
and to grow in goodness and grace.

Amen.

O glorious St. Rita,
your pleadings before the Divine Crucifix
have been known to grant favors
that many would call the impossible.
Lovely St. Rita, so humble, so pure,
so devoted in your love for your crucified Jesus,
speak on my behalf for my petition
which seems so impossible from my humbled position.
Thank you St. Rita, patroness of impossible cases,
for your intercession on my behalf today.

O Rapturous Joy of Paradise,
Fount of Purest Delight,
My God, give yourself to me
and kindle in my innermost soul

St. Pope John Paul II said:

"Each individual Christian and every community is called
to be an instrument of God for the liberation
and the promotion of the poor society."

Let us be light for your sick from the virus
especially those also burdened with poverty
so, that all people may enjoy the fruits of Creation.

Let us not forget to be these instruments of God;
to bring about the Kingdom of Justice for all people.

We pray through the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Amen.

O Holy Spirit, most merciful Comforter:
You proceed from the Father
in a manner beyond our understanding.
Come, I beg You,
and take up your abode in my heart.
Purify and cleanse me from all sin,
and sanctify my soul.
Cleanse it from every impurity,
water its dryness, melt its coldness,
and save it from its sinful ways.
Make me truly humble and resigned,
that I may be pleasing to You,
and that You might abide with me forever.
Most Blessed Light, most Amiable Light,
enlighten me.
