O Sacred Heart of Jesus,
to You I consecrate and offer up my person and my life,
my actions, trials, and sufferings, that my entire being
may henceforth only be employed in loving,
honoring and glorifying You.
This is my irrevocable will, to belong entirely to You,
and to do all for Your love, renouncing with my whole heart
all that can displease You.

God our Father,
You gave Robert Bellarmine wisdom and goodness
to defend the faith of Your Church.
By his prayers may we always rejoice
in the profession of our faith.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

Lord your words are spirit and life.
They give me the strength and wisdom I need
to be open to all the possibilities
that I will encounter today.
Help me to witness to your goodness
and kindness to those I meet today.
You have given me and them the grace
we need to bring our families
and communities closer to you.
May we be open to hearing your word
and allowing your Spirit to guide
and nourish us today.

Hallowed Mother,
do this favor:
Those Wounds that gored my Savior,
deeply on my heart engraved.
Mine it be,
Christ's throes in sharing.
Mine it be,
his anguish bearing.
These, his wounds,
to keep in mind.
From the flame of hell unending,
be thou, Virgin,
me defending,
in that dreadful reckoning day!
When in death my eyes are closing,
open them, Lord,
to see reposing,
Victory's crown in Mary's hand.
When my frame by death is broken,
and my doom by thee is spoken,
be it, Lord, the better land.
Amen.

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus
while before Your face I humbly kneel and,
with burning soul, pray and beseech You
to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments
of faith, hope, and charity; true contrition
for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment.
While I contemplate,
with great love and tender pity,
Your five most precious wounds,
pondering over them within me
and calling to mind the words which David,
Your prophet, said to You, my Jesus:
"They have pierced My hands and My feet,
they have numbered all My bones."
Amen.

Heavenly Father, obtain through Your Son,
Jesus Christ, the souls of my parents, friends,
relatives and neighbors, both living and dead.
Grant them life everlasting from the only giver
of every good and perfect gift, the Lord God Almighty,
to whom all power now and forever shall rest.
Amen.

Most holy Virgin and Mother,
whose soul was pierced by a sword of sorrow
in the Passion of your Divine Son,
and who in His glorious Resurrection
was filled with never ending joy at His triumph,
obtain for us who call upon you,
so to be partakers in the adversities of Holy Church
and the Sorrows of the Sovereign Pontiff,
as to be found worthy to rejoice with them
in the consolations for which we pray,
in the charity and peace of the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.

God of peace, bring your peace to our violent world:
peace in the hearts of all men and women
and peace among the nations of the earth.
Turn to your way of love those whose hearts and minds
are consumed with hatred.
God of understanding,
overwhelmed by the magnitude of tragedy,
we seek your light and guidance
as we remember these terrible events.
Grant that those whose lives were spared
may live so that the lives lost
may not have been lost in vain.
Comfort and console us, strengthen us in hope,
and give us the wisdom and courage to work
tirelessly for a world where true peace and love
reign among nations and in the hearts of all.

As we read in Scripture, God’s call may not come
in an earthquake or a fire or some other spectacular event.
God’s call most often comes in the gentle breeze.
God whispers. God most often does not shout.
Lord, give me the patience
to be silent and peaceful and listen.
Allow me to repeat the words of the prophet,
“Speak Lord for your servant is listening.”
You have a special thought and message for me today.

Lord, for love of you St. Peter Claver
became the faithful servant of slaves.
Through his prayer help us to see
the true dignity of the human family,
all children of one father
and to spend ourselves for their salvation.
We ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God for ever and ever.
Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You.
Please grant through Your mother’s intercession
that I may always bring Your hope into my family.
Jesus, I trust in You.
Please grant through Your mother’s intercession
that I may always bring Your hope into my family.
Jesus, I trust in You.
Please grant through Your mother’s intercession
that I may always bring Your hope into my family.
Our Lady, on this feast of your birth,
please pray for stronger and holier marriages.
Amen.

O God, the creator of all things,
you framed the law of labor for the human race.
Graciously grant, by the example and patronage
of St. Joseph, that we may do the work
You provide us and earn the reward You promise.
Sustain us with Your grace to live up to our duties
in charity and justice.
Amen.

Keep us, O God, from all pettiness.
Let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.
let us be done with fault-finding
and leave off all self-seeking.
May we put away all pretense
and meet each other face to face,
without self pity and without prejudice.
may we never be hasty in judgment,
and always be generous.
let us always take time for all things,
and make us to grow calm, serene and gentle.
Teach us to put into action our better impulses,
to be straightforward and unafraid.
Grant that we may realize
that it is the little things of life that create differences,
that in the big things of life, we are as one.
And, O Lord God, let us not forget to be kind!
Amen.

Give us a heart as beautiful, pure, and spotless as yours.
A heart like yours, so full of love and humility.
May we be able to receive Jesus as the Bread of Life,
to love Him as you loved Him,
to serve Him under the mistreated face of the poor.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

O Blessed Mary, in the presence of all the heavenly court
I choose you this day, for my Mother.
I deliver and consecrate to you, as your servant,
my body and soul, my goods and even the value
of all my good actions, past, present and future.
All that belongs to me is yours according to your good pleasure,
for the greater glory of God, in time and in eternity.
Amen.
