Good Saint Luke, we are told that before you met
our dear Lord and became a follower of His
and a writer of His Gospel, you were a doctor.
We beg you this day to bless and help and protect our doctors.
Obtain for them the graces they most need
to work well and serve God generously.
Help them to be strong and gentle,
prudent and charitable,
understanding and self-sacrificing.
Give them great skill in the care of our bodies,
so that, blessed with physical strength and health,
we may more faithfully perform our daily tasks.

Lord you are kind and merciful.
You lift me up when I am falling.
I deeply appreciate your promise
to be with me in times of distress and sorrow.
Your word gives me hope and courage.
Help me to hear your healing words,
“Come to me all you who are weary
and find life burdensome and I will refresh you.”
All I can pray in response is a simple thank you.

May the offerings of Your people be accepted by You, O Lord:
and grant that we may be inflamed by that Divine fire
which coming from the Heart of Your Son,
burnt vehemently within blessed Margaret Mary.
Through the same Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
Who lives and reigns with You ,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
world without end.
Amen.

Let nothing disturb you,
Nothing frighten you.
All things are passing.
God never changes.
Patient endurance attains all things.
Whoever possesses God lacks nothing,
God alone is sufficient.

O Heart of Love, I hope all from Your infinite Goodness.
Annihilate in me all that can displease or resist You.
Imprint Your pure love so deeply in my heart
that I may never forget You or be separated from You.
I ask You, through Your infinite Goodness,
grant that my name be engraved upon Your Heart,
for in this I place all my happiness
and all my glory,
to live and to die as one of Your devoted servants.
Amen.

Most merciful God,
We come to You in our weakness.
We come to You in our fear.
We come to You with trust.
For You alone are our hope.
We place before You the disease present in our world.
We turn to You in our time of need.
Bring wisdom to doctors.
Give understanding to scientists.
Endow caregivers with compassion and generosity.
Bring healing to those who are ill.
Protect those who are most at risk.
Give comfort to those who have lost a loved one.
Welcome those who have died into your eternal home.
Stabilize our communities.
Unite us in our compassion.
Remove all fear from our hearts.
Fill us with confidence in your care.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Jesus, I trust in you.
Amen.

Blessed are You, loving Father,
For all your gifts to us.
Blessed are You for giving us family and friends
To be with us in times of joy and sorrow,
To help us in days of need,
And to rejoice with us in moments of celebration.
Father, We praise You for Your Son Jesus,
Who knew the happiness of family and friends,
And in the love of Your Holy Spirit.
Blessed are you for ever and ever.
Amen.

Holy Immaculate Mary,
help all who are in trouble.
Give courage to the faint-hearted,
console the sad, heal the sick,
pray for the people,
intercede for the clergy,
have a special care for nuns;
may all feel, all enjoy Your kind and powerful assistance,
all who now and always render and will render,
You honor, and will offer You their petitions.
Hear all our prayers, O Mother,
and grant them all.
We are all Your children.
Grant the prayers of Your children.
Amen forever.

We turn to you for protection,
holy Mother of God.
Listen to our prayers
and help us in our needs.
Save us from every danger,
glorious and blessed Virgin.

I take You, O Sacred Heart,
for the sole object of my love,
the protection of my life,
the pledge of my salvation,
the remedy of my frailty and inconstancy,
the reparation for all the defects of my life,
and my secure refuge at the hour of my death.
O Most Merciful Heart, be
my justification before God Your Father,
and screen me from His anger
which I have so justly merited.
I fear all from my own weakness and malice,
but placing my entire confidence in You,
I hope all from Your infinite goodness.

My Jesus, I believe that You are present
in the Blessed Sacrament.
I love You above all things and I desire You in my soul.
Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
As though You weren’t already there,
I embrace You and unite myself wholly to You;
permit not that I should ever be separated from You.

My dearest Mother Mary, behold me,
your child, in prayer at your feet.
Accept this Holy Rosary, which I offer you
in accordance with your requests at Fatima,
as a proof of my tender love for you.
I beg you to present my petition to your Divine Son.
If you will pray for me, I cannot be refused.
I know, dearest Mother, that you want me to seek
God’s holy will concerning my request.
If what I ask for should not be granted,
pray that I may receive that
which will be of greater benefit to my soul.
I offer you this spiritual “Bouquet of Roses”
because I love you.
I put all my confidence in you,
since your prayers before God are most powerful.

Let me be your witness.
Lord, in whatever I do and wherever I am.
Help me to be humble and accept
that I can speak your praise in my own special way.
I don’t have to do anything spectacular.
I am the only one placed in this place at this time.
If I don’t speak your word it won’t be spoken.
May I always be your disciple.

Lord, just a few moments with You,
a few thoughts shared between us,
the sense of Your friendship can be more healing
and refreshing than a mountain scene,
easing my body, soothing my anxious mind.
There are days though it’s not easy,
Lord, especially in the mornings
if I awake anxious or worried,
or when I haven’t slept well,
if at all and the day lies long before me.
Refresh me, Lord,
with the goodness of Your presence.
Lord, help me though the day.
Amen.

Most lovable and popular Saint,
son of a wealthy merchant of Assisi,
you discarded earthly possessions
for the Savior you loved so dearly
and you won innumerable persons for Jesus.
How greatly we need in our day unselfish and just merchants.
Inspire them with the love of Christ for others
and with the desire for things that endure.
Amen.
