Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Immaculate Queen and Mother, the refuge and consolation of all troubled souls! I kneel here before you with my family and choose you for my Lady, Mother, and Advocate with God. I dedicate myself and all who belong to me to your service forever. I beg thee, O Mother of God, to receive us into the company of your servants. Take us under your protection. Help us in life and at the hour of our death.

Jesus, help us to ponder in our hearts over the many ways you show your love in our lives, and lead us to walk with your mother as we follow you each day. Jesus, we praise you, for you are our Lord and our God for ever and ever. Amen!

O good and dearest Jesus, I kneel before Your face. With all my heart I ask You to place in my heart more faith, hope and charity. Give me a true sorrow for my sins and a strong will to do better With great sorrow and grief I look upon your five wounds and think about them. Before my eyes are the words that the prophet David said of You, O good Jesus: "They have pierced my hands and feet They have numbered all my bones."

Jesus, our brother and our Lord, you have come to save us because God loves us with a deep and unending love. You have given us Mary, your mother, to be our mother too, and invite us to follow her example. On earth she was a woman of faith and prayer, of obedience to God's will, always ready to serve in any way. In heaven she continues to pray for us, so that we may serve God faithfully in our daily living.

Dear God, I spend so much time reliving yesterday or anticipating tomorrow that I lose sight of the only time that is really mine, the present moment. You give today one moment at a time. That's all I have, all I ever will have. Give the faith which knows that each moment contains exactly what is best for me. Give the hope which trusts You enough to forget past failings and future trials. Give the love which makes each moment an anticipation of eternity with You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Who is the same yesterday, today and forever. Amen.

Shine your light upon me so that I may see my true vocation. Give me the grace to hear your word and be an example to others of your love for us. I pray for all in the Priesthood, Consecrated life, Marriage and Single life, and for all who are listening to your call, that they may answer you in their vocation. Thank you for sending your son Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest; help me to follow His example. May I freely, courageously and lovingly respond. Amen.

Heavenly Father, since the time of the Apostles you have inspired the Church to commission certain members to assist in a special way in the pastoral mission of Christ. Bless the deacons and all other ordained and non-ordained ministers that they may be humble and faith-inspired in their service. We ask this through Christ, our Lord.

O Holy Spirit, I humbly implore You, be with me always so that in all things, I may act under the influence of Your holy inspiration. Amen.

Dear Jesus, the stark beauty of sunset startles me. The death of a dear friend stuns me. I cannot grasp the wonder of it all. You call me to be still and trust. Let the waves of feeling wash over me and bring healing and hope. Amen – By Columban Fr. John Comiskey

As Morning breaks, I think of you, O Lord, and my desire is to serve You joyfully. With gladness, I consecrate this day to Your Sacred Heart, and offer whatever joys and sacrifices may come my way. Thank You for the graces You will send, all the love, all the beauty, and the ways You will answer my prayers. Today, may I love my enemies, and treat others as I would ask to be treated; may I forgive seventy times seven and show mercy; may I welcome the prodigal, have compasion for the Samaritan; be a peace maker and love my neighbor unconditionally. Take all my heart, and mind and strength, O Lord, that this day may be truly lived for Your greater honor and glory and for the salvation of souls. Amen.

O my God, give me a strong faith. Help me to believe with lively faith. O my God, all-good and all-merciful, I sincerely hope to be saved. Help me to do all that is necessary to gain eternal salvation. I have committed many sins in my life, but now I turn away from them. I am sorry, truly sorry for all of them, because I have offended You, my God, Who are all-good, all-perfect, all-holy and all-merciful. I love you, O my God, with all my heart. Please forgive me for having offended You. I promise that, with Your help, I will never offend You again. My God, have mercy on me.

O My God, I place my trust and confidence in You, who will reward the good and punish the wicked. I believe in You and accept everything You have taught and revealed. I believe that in one God there are three Divine Persons - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I believe that God the Son became Man without ceasing to be God. He is Jesus Christ, my lord and my Saviour, the Redeemer of the human race. He died on the Cross for my salvation and eternal happiness.

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus while before Your face I humbly kneel and, with burning soul, pray and beseech You to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope, and charity; true contrition for my sins, and a firm purpose of amendment. While I contemplate, with great love and tender pity, Your five most precious wounds, pondering over them within me and calling to mind the words which David, Your prophet, said to You, my Jesus: "They have pierced My hands and My feet, they have numbered all My bones." Amen.

Dear Lord, I am grieved when I consider Your sad condition when You wore the Crown of Thorns upon Your holy Head. I desire to withdraw the thorns by offering to the Eternal Father the merits of Your Wounds for the salvation of sinners. I wish to unite my actions to the merits of Your Most Holy Crown, so that they may gain many merits, as You have promised. Amen.
